How a listing gets onto this calendar
Churches, schools, nonprofits, and neighbors can submit a gathering. Paid upgrades are separate from the free listing.
Bastropia publishes events after a person looks at them. A free community listing needs a name, a date, a place, and enough detail that a neighbor can decide whether to go.
Submit it on this site. It lands in the desk queue. It is not public until someone adds it to the calendar. Spotlight, Featured, and Lost Pines upgrades change how a listing looks after it is already accepted. They do not skip the review.
Business advertising is a different form. Ads stay labeled, and they never sit inside the emergency numbers or the burn-ban status.
