Bastrop ISD stays a C. Leaders want a B in two years.
Eight of 17 rated campuses landed an A or B. The district score is still a C for a second year.
Bastrop ISD’s 2026 Texas Education Agency accountability grade is a C, the same letter as last year. At a State of the District meeting, district leaders said the aim is a B within two years, with no low-performing campuses left on the list.
Community Impact notes that eight of the 17 evaluated campuses earned an A or B on the latest ratings. TEA blends student achievement, school progress, and closing-the-gaps scores into the letter. A district target is not a new rating; the next official letter comes from TEA.
